Sticking (although hopefully not) with a dry fit, spoke to my frame man and he said he always fits them dry, just loosen and wiggle every few months to make sure all's well.

...so not sure what they mean by that. Carbon to carbon, not carbon to something else? Maybe that's why it welded my carbon post to an alu frame?

I like Moots, and the picture :D , but not their layback seatpost. I don't like those sort of clamping methods and like the simple and always effective rocker one bolt mount. Can't work out why so many manufacturers faff about with other convoluted methods. Also those that do an offset with a bent post look stupid when you don't have a lot of seatpin exposed, they just look like someone's whacked it with a hammer and bent it where it inserts in the seatpin.

Oh, and the Ti frame's not a Moots, it's a Burls custom.
