kids spd shoes

looking to buy my 9 year old son some cycling shoes,bit of a search on web doesn't come up with much without paying a fortune for a pair which won't happen as he'll grow out of them quick. Anyone know of any god deals to be had?

Carl, look for women's small size, if your 9 year old is like what my son was when 9 his feet will be big enough for women's shoes. Maybe I can persuade my wife to pass on her size 4 (maybe 3.5) size shimano road spds. Used once!

Cheers Kieran perhaps i'll do that might be more options and could pick something up in a sale. My wife informed me he is still a size 2.5/3
Just bought him the junior decathlon race bike for his birthday hoping to get him to palace for his 1st race next tues.....

Hi Carl, oh, size 3, I'm afraid he might not find any women's sizes then, my wife is size 3.5 and had great difficulty trying to find any. Wait half a year and I'm sure his size will go up!
