MTB advice/help needed!

Hi All,

I am having some issues with my MTB back brakes. It's a "Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Elite 2010 Mountain Bike" from Evans.

Rear Brake:Custom Avid Elixir R SL, alloy backed semi-met pads, 185mm

I have had a crack, but am struggling. Evans Cycle just want to charge me to fix it and I have the feeling it's something simple, but not the best hand at MTB's!

Can anyone help? I am based in South Croydon and am happy to ride out to anyone's place for a quick look!

What kind of problem? How long have you had the bike? Maybe it's just worn pads? I'm not far, so do get in touch if you need help.
