Birthday drinks - 19 November

I was thinking of having a drink or two to comiserate being one year older than last year... Would anyone care to join me at the Dukes Head at Wallington Green, late afternoon/early evening (you can stay later, I won't) on Saturday 19 November? The Dukes Head does decent food too.

I was reckoning on it being relatively easy access with buses from Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Croydon, Mitcham - and not in Croydon

Thanks! Highlight of my day was rescuing a dog from running down London Road through Hackbridge I managed to put it on some sort of leash (thanks to DHL) and walk back to Beddington Park where I was right in thinking I'd find the owner - and quite rightly searching high and low for the mutt. The dog had followed a runner who just carried on out of the park with the dog behind, now and again running down the middle of the road... (the dog that is - no road sense )

oh and being given the third Simon's Cat book - Kitten Chaos - just after I'd mention it
