Hello all! Firstly thank you all for the kind get well wishes! I'm well on the road to recovery. I had to have a titanium plate fitted in a broken eye socket, the surgeon did a fantastic job, the broken hand has healed, it's just the collarbone I'm waiting on now, it has snapped at the shoulder end, so it is taking longer than usual, but the doctors are hoping it should all be done and dusted by mid December. This all happened on the New kings road, I was in a cycle lane approaching a junction, the lights were red and a passenger decided she wanted to get out just as I was on her left side, so I hit the edge of the door not the side, a bit like a tomato on a knife! The police are involved and I have a solicitor on the case. So hopefully it won't be long till I'm back on the saddle, thanks again for the kind messages.

Sorry to hear about this, Jon - sounded really nasty. Car doors can be pretty clunky round there.

Glad to hear you're on the mend - hope you're back in action soon.
