I have a spare front you can have Amy. 32 spoke (I think) handbuilt, doesn't get any use as I just leave the dynamo hubbed wheel in all the time. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks, Andrew! I'll see. The problem with having the tyres on a set of spare wheels is the cassette - 1) wear if I have a cassette on each rear wheel and 2) the tourer is still on 8-speed...

I shall see what the tyres are like when I get them - could just stick them on and ride them in the winter whatever as I'd only be using the tourer for short rides to Sutton and Thames Ditton as they can be ridden on the roads without ice...

Now I think my tyres have had more interest than the actual drinks!!

Personally, Dan, I think you were a coward not wanting to face your boss and her cronies

Re the studded tyres, I put mine on early Dec and leave them til about March-April, so solving problem of having spare wheels and changing cassettes etc or suffering uneven cassette/chainwear. They came into their own this morning - black ice or hard frost everywhere, roads leading off my hill were like glass.
