And there was me thinking my bike got away with it and all I needed was to change the bar tape!

it was hanging by a few fibres under the tape.

And that's why I don't like carbon fibre cycle components. The failure mode is just too scarey.

So i cut them down neatly both sides and sold them on eBay as Fixie short bars!!!!!!
