Sorry Lizzie, we tried to come out and cheer you on.

My Dad and I left for a spin out, at the top of Chipstead Valley ducked under the trees as the rain fell. A brief shower and on we'd go. It got heavier so we headed back for home. Rode back getting very cold in torrential rain. Horrendous weather, poor ladies with their race.

One of the Brazilian ladies has discovered one of the joys of the British countryside - wet stinging nettles

Fun watching them go down roads I've known since a child :D

Wet stinging nettles and a Brazillian?

Weather was intermittent. A hardy few braved the showers and the officious security personnel. Got home in time to see the finish but looked like a cracking race. Lots of photos drifting round FaceAche but I'll see if I can be bothered to post some somewhere compatible with here.

Oh, and if anyone finds a small Altura Pocket Rocket waterproof in their luggage then I'd be most grateful if you'd say. Otherwise I will have to purchase a pink one with "I need to look after my stuff" on the back.

...and if anyone found a yellow Catlike crash helmet containing an Addiscombe cap and a pair of Specialized Body Geometry track mitts and took them for safe-keeping please let me know, otherwise I'll need to do the same as Phil!!!

Thanks, Tim
