Screen at Potters field

I watched the women's omnium & men's sprint final :D today on the big screen at Potter's field, on the river near the town hall. It was a good atmosphere, and going to go down tomorrow eve as well - if I'm lucky and can get away from work early I will get there for 4.30/5ish to see the end of the women's omnium, men's keirin and women's sprint final.

The only issue is it could rain - though that will affect the spectators more than the riders

Does look like rain tomorrow - which is a shame as Tom is really keen to earn more points at Palace (he only has one to your 5). I'll be stuck at work but will have the whole thing on Sky+ so will be trying to avoid all media after 4:00pm. I fully expect Laura, Vicky and Sir Chris to do the business.

I look at the track cycling and I think how different it would all be if Vicky & Jess had got the changeover right and Ed had got in the break on the points race. Mind you, then people would really think we were taking the pith.

Ha! I tried the masala dosa last night. Maybe will go for falafel tonight :)

Phil - I didn't even bother to think about Palace. Well, I thought about it, but then though nah.
