I'm building up a bike but am no expert in this sort of thing.

I have the opportunity to buy the following for £100.00.

Does anybody have any experience with these cranks or know if this is a good deal or not?

Cheers

Paul

No experience of them personally but reviews here don't seem too full of praise.

Have you checked out GBs? FSA Pro Carbon http://www.gbcycles.co.uk/eshop.asp?wci=product&wce=CSFSAPR01&desc=FSA+PRO+ROAD+CARBONCHAINSET is £119 and you get a 10% ACC discount. They also have Ultegra or 2004 Chorus for between £110 and £125 depending whether you're a Campag or Shimano man.

Paul

I have these cranks and I think that they are superb. I replaced my Record cranks for these and would not look back, the delivery of power (what little I have) feels very positve. They look great too.

The thing is I cannot remember what I paid for them.

Hope this helps

Hi Paul,

I had some to test for the Tour of Flanders Sportif, nice and stiff, but did have problems with the left crank falling off once due to the vibrations from the cobbles.

It's also recommended you have an FSA front mech for smooth changing.

If you're running Campag, maybe Alex could sell you his old ones.......
