New(ish) recruit to the dad club

Postby Grahame » Thu Jan 03, 2013 11:58 am

Sorry for the delay in letting the club know, but I'm now a dad!

Lyra Triada Amy Baker was born by emergency C-section at 02:22am on Boxing Day. She weighed 4.255kg at birth, so about the same as an old school Reynolds 531ST touring frame.

Josie and our daughter came home from hospital on Friday. I had a bout of Norovirus inspired "bathroom rest" on Saturday. But we are now settling into a routine. Josie and Lyra are both doing well.

Strangely, cycling doesn't seem that important to me at the moment.

Well done, Josie!

That reminds me - got a recent CTC magazine that looks at the options for family cycling. Would anyone like it? PM me your address and I'll stick it in the post.

Congratulations to all three of you. I'll look out for you as you push her around the parks of Bromley in the buggy, trying to get her to sleep!
