I am new to club cycling and its 'great to find a forum where men worry more about co-ordinating their outfits than women  Seriously I will/would consider buying some kit if a womens cut jersey was/is available and some shorts or 3/4 length again in a female cut. it really does make a difference !

Saw Nick L along Whyteleafe Road this morning, puffing a bit, but proudly wearing club jersey for all to see.
Although visibility wasn't great his ACC top stood out from a distance.

Yep that was me alright! Toiling away on the MTB.

I always get comments from my workmates about the ACC Jersey, 'can't miss you in that' etc. Personally I love the kit, and for me it's a real bonus that It's yellow so I can wear it on the commute.

[quote="Andrew G"]Don't know what people do to their kit. I've never had any problems with quality on any Santini kit, club or other, and have found it a better fit and more comfortable than more expensive stuff.

I'm with  on this. I'm surprised to read the negative comments about the Santini kit. Yes, there is more 'technical' (and therefore more expensive) stuff out there but my Addiscombe kit (previous generation) is the most comfortable/best fitting I've got (apart from a Cannondale LECarbon one, but that's black and not really advisable for use on black roads  ). Also, considering how much I've worn my Addiscombe kit, it's amazingly durable - still almost respectable.

I like the new ACC kit design (the font of the lettering reminds me of the opening titles of Captain Scarlet) and will be investing in top and shorts for the spring/summer. I'm assuming the quality is the same as the previous generation?

Adrian, jersey the same, shorts are better as are the skin suits should you wish to release your inner-gimp.

Beloved of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, then. Didn't know that - cheers, Elliot

Jerserys appear to me to be a different cut, and a different material.

To be honest I didn't wear the jersey much since I had it as I had the gimp suit on most of the time as the decent weather when it rarely appeared last year was in race season. I do remember size was different and I've moved down a jersey size.

Not quite the right shade of yellow on this one, so I won't be buying it.

I loved the old kit and like the new one even better, I do think it looks good when everyone wears the club kit, Norwood and Dulwich are good examples, and look back at the epic 100+ club run , I challenge anyone to say it would look better all wearing different kits.
