Has anyone got spare Romin Saddle that I can borrow for a couple of days (or buy)?

Thanks

Don't bother, they're dog doo. I've had 2 snap on me and have been told this is a common problem with them.

Your more than welcome to borrow a broken one and destroy your nuts

I've got through lots of Romins. All broke in the same place, always when racing. Problem is I've tried loads of saddles and of those I've tried, the Romin suits me best by far. Fortunately all replaced under warranty. I've now got one of the more recent Romin Evo models which has survived longest so far....

I'm the same as Keith in the fact that I also find the Romins comfortable, shame they do break so easily, About to try a Fizik out over the weekend and see how that suits me though will look out for a Romin Evo though.

Saddles that I found most comfortable (but not without issues) are Specialized Toupe and Fizik Aliante VS. The trouble is that Aliante is too wide at the front and Toupe has cut-out in the middle only, whilst VS has full length groove which helps release pressure in the crouch area. Romin seems to be compromise in the sense that it is similar to Toupe but also has full length groove. Unfortunately GBs do not have it as test saddle.

Darren, thanks for your kind offer. Are you around on Friday to meet up or I could collect it from your place?

I've used Fizik Arione's since they came out, I too like a narrow nosed saddle Iliya. If you want to test one let me know and I can lend you one for a test. They do a VS version now if that's your preferance.
