I wonder why Froome elected to ride one of the Mavic bikes on the last day,

Wise move to wait till the last day though, what with those toe-clip pedals and 9-speed drivetrain he lost 53 seconds on the bunch. If he'd ridden it every day he was in yellow, he'd be off the podium.
