Anyone who volunteered, you should've received a mail from me with stuff. If not then drop me a PM. Also this is the stuff.

Well done Phil, it looked to be going smoothly. The 25 is a big event, takes a lot of work and can be rather stressful.

Sorry to DNS but I didn't fancy it after driving out through the standing water. With the still saturated verges it was struggling to drain in places. Where they've done some of the roadworks and put new tarmac down they haven't really put a camber on it either which is just plain daft. Possibly one of the last events on the course as I believe they are going to start more roadworks around all the building they are doing in the area.

Thanks to Andrea, Joyce and Belinda for doing the canteen with me and for helping provide a damn good display of cake :D Sorry no one liked the look of yours, Rob! Mind you, with rider numbers down we had more than enough.

Just a couple of quotes from emails I've had today:
[quote]Thank you for hosting the event today we both (Dave Dent) enjoyed the race and were pleased with the results.
The marshalls were fantastic as were the catering ladies. The club members were very friendly and encouraging before during and after the race.
Hope race one of your events again in the future.

[quote]Brilliant Phil, many thanks to all the marshals standing around in those conditions for hours.

We've also had verbal comments and notes on Facebook etc.

So thanks all - your standing around in the rain is appreciated.
