I think most of them are funny, half of them are useful, and half of them are totally pointless or even plainly wrong (such as "not eating in rides under 4 hours").
When I mean useful, I talk about rules like "keep the brand of the tyre aligned with the valve". Well, that is useful. But it's pointless to tell "Team kit is for kit members": I wear whatever I want.
Perhaps they need to be read three or four times to find in them a deep sense of humour. Problem is, most of people who think they are actual rules then apply them as such, and problems come: Rule #5 must have broken a few hamstrings and quads by now...
At the end of the day, it's the opinion of four guys.
Cheers!
