Sorry Alan,

No bike I am afraid mine are all broken.

Although I could fix the puncture on my commuter bike but probably not by tonight.

Thanks for galvanising us for this week Alan, don't know how you do it sandwiching "Huw's Hills" inbetween Wales and the Polka Dot.

Half a dozen of so out tonight, good group (including a couple experiencing the joys of Chalkpit and White Hill for the first time) and a good ride on a nice sunny evening.

Good luck for the weekend . :)

Does anyone know the gradients for Chalkpit and White Hill?

Signposted as 18% for Chalkpit and 16% for White Hill, although these are maximum gradients. Chalkpit is longer and with a steeper section, but White Hill seems to be steeper for longer.
