Kaiser Jan has launched his own brand of bikes:

Rumour has it that the range will also include a winter training bike with integral sat-nav system to guide its owner to the nearest cake shop.

Surely it only has two speeds: 'Winter' and 'Final Week Of Tour De France'.*

* I actually have a lot of respect for the guy, it's just a good excuse for some bad jokes.

A bit of Tour trivia.

If Jan wins the TdF this year he will almost set a record for the biggest gap between wins; 9 years.

That's only beaten by Gino Bartali with a gap of ten years, but there was a world war going on for six or seven of those.

Look at that! Start a thread about a German, and it's only a matter of time before someone mentions the War  . John Cleese would be proud.

I'd have to agree with that, he may have done well in the Giro TT, but where was he in the mountains!?

minute after minute he lost when the road went up, and lets face it, he's not that great a TT'er. He only beat Basso by about 45 seconds right?

If Basso dont win, my moneys on Floyd Landis.

Plus, personally, i dont even think der kaisers bikes are all that either!

Oh well, only about 4 week and we'll see....
