Next week fastish hills

Postby Marek » Sun Jun 04, 2006 9:29 pm

Hello All,

With the Marmotte looming Max and I are not going to race next weekend but are intending to do a hilly ride leaving CSS at the same time as the normal club run. We will probably be taking the hills at a reasonably quick pace as we want to try and get up to speed for a good time for the Marmotte.

If anyone fancies coming along to do what will likely be a challenging but hopefully enjoyable ride then let me know as the more the merrier. This ride will have a cafe stop in it somewhere along the route.

Cheers

Marek.....

Would have Marek but have a prior cycling engagement.

Plus I was exhausted keeping up with you for 10 miles in the Gran Fondo.....

Sorry, but I will be racing around the clock in Bristol too; not in Sylvain's team but in a rival three-man team (Addiscombe B?).

Excellent. Are you with other ACCers then Richard? I will be with Yeti/Goldtec again, and again with the ex-GB track guy - so watch out for the competition!

No, another composite team made up from my brother and a friend. It sounds as if they're largely 'leisure' riders so it will be up to me to pull us up the table. You will beat us by miles.

There will be a slight change. I am likely to be doing a 4 up practice for my TT in July if all the guys turn up at CSS for 9.15 on Saturday. So I will do that to the Cafe and will then be doing hills afterwards. So I will see you at the Cafe for a route into Kent maybe for a change.

Cheers

Marek....

p.s. Not sure about race pace Tim as we want to get in a fair few miles, but you never know things have tended to take a turn for speed in the past.
