Fly Past

Postby Douglas » Sat Jul 22, 2006 3:58 pm

On today's club run a crowd of us were sitting on the grass at the top of Box Hill when a roar from above suggested that the forecast thunderstorms were imminent, but as we looked up we couldn't of been more wrong; breaking cover from behind the trees were the Red Arrows, with the five lead planes flying in an undisputed 'banked A formation', the synchro pair and two stragglers followed close behind - either providing an exclamation mark or just giving a nod to my hopeless efforts following the bunch up the hill.

Its nice to see that the Royal Air Force also appreciate the agreeableness of cycling in Surrey :D
