On the scrounge...again...700c front wheel anybody?

Postby Matt Robbins » Wed Sep 20, 2006 3:37 pm

Sorry for all this blatant scrounging....I'm trying to get a new machine together after the theft of all my bikes. ACCer John has already done me a massive favour and now I'm after another.

Does anybody have a spare 700c front wheel (clincher)...don't really mind what it is as long as the bearings are ok for the time being and it is true-ish...I'm looking to spend no more than £20.

Cheers,

Matt.

I have a cheap and cheerful job in my garage that's yours for as long as you want it. Was on my fixed but has quick release, no tyre I'm afraid.

It is a cheap wheel, but not very old and is true. So long as you don't have too high hopes it goes round and keeps the forks from scrapping along the floor. Should be okay to commute on until the insurance stump up and you can restock your fleet.

If you're interested pm me.
