Classics DVDs

Postby Dominic » Sun Oct 29, 2006 1:45 pm

Does anybody out there know where I can get Classi.cs DVDs over the counter? A lot of the bike shops seem to do Tour de France stuff but not the classics. Sports Pages in Charing Cross Road was the only place I knew but they have shut down.

I am asking because I don't have a cheque book/debit card at the moment and I feel like I am getting stung twice with the extra for the postal order and then P&P on top.

Any ideas welcome

Sean,

Thanks for the reply.

No, as you can tell my bank (and other financial institutions)and I have had, shall we say, issues in the past.

I think my main reason for asking is it seems we as a society seem to have become very dependent on cards and the internet etc. I know the companies I can buy from (I usually use CW), it was just the hassle of the post office and I suppose a bit on instant gratification (can't beat that on a Sunday afternoon  ) during week.

I can't even Paypal through E-bay as all the Classic DVDs seem to be from Australia at a helluva cost.

Sorry seems to have been a bit of a rant.

Any hoo, off to Godstone Farm with the kids.
