Revolution 14

Postby -Adam- » Mon Nov 20, 2006 3:23 am

Being up here in wet windy Liverpool does have some advantages... It means i can get to Manchester in 30mins, and last night so i did. For Revolution 14.

Now i must admit i dont know a lot about track riding, its a bit of a mystery to me, but the atmosphere was amazing. And the racing matched the atmospere every bit...

Theres to much to report, but if you cant wait til cycling weekly comes out click here:

There had to be some advantage to being surrounded by scousers :D .

Must be great to be able to get to Manchester that easily. I saw the Commonwealth Games there and the atmoshpere in the velodrome with the low roof is fantastic, if a bit sweaty. Only having watched track racing at a big place like Herne Hill before the thing that struck me most was the steepness of the banking on the indoor 250 tracks. The TV just doesn't show how near vertical it seems as you look down over the barrier.

Sounds from your other post like you'll be flying next season Adam. :D

Well im hoping, ill be back on the CR on the 9th December (yes, this is the date of the next revolution, but i booked my ticket home before it was confirmed doh!)... So im very keen to keep going what toks started and push the ACC racing forward... And maybe get organised, there seems to be enough whispering going on!
