Has anyone got one I could borrow?

no, what you cuttin' anyway? well I say no but got this tiny tube cutter from Ikea for cutting copper water pipes - works fine - used it when plumbing the kitchen sink in. I cut my MTB handle bars with a bog standard hacksaw - they now have a unique hand crafted angled end

This is the way to do it:

With a good quality one of these:

and a good quality blade, then one of these

That's what Howard and I used at the shop.

Alternatively pop into the shop and ask Howard to do it in exchange for Marks and Spencers Oatmeal cookies (5 for £2.20).

Cheers.

Do I give Howard the cookie before or after the job?

Wave the cookies at him to get him to the work.

Maybe open the bag and give him a whiff of the lovely smell.

Then hand them over once the job is done! :)
