Medical Certificate for Sportives.

Postby Andrew G » Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:56 pm

I remember from Huw and Maria's talk that there is a medical certificate template on a website that can just be printed off, allows your doctor to say your fit and healthy, and just sign off.

I can't find my notes, can anyone remember it and point me in the right direction, thanks.

Probably overkill as I've got my BC licence, but I'd rather be belt and braces on foreign soil.

Ta,

Andrew.

Yes, the Welsh can be real sticklers for this kind of thing. Boom-boom!

At the talk I said that this could be found on

http://www.cyclosport.co.uk/

However, I have since been on this site and can no longer find it. You could contact the editor via the site and he should point you in the right direction.

Mind you, if you have a BC racing licence (which also has a UCI number on it) a medical certificate is not necessary.

On a related note, I have notes from the talk that I meant to put on the forum - they're coming soon.

Thanks Maria. I have a racing licence so should be fine, but I've emailed the editor anyway and will post the link if they still provide the certificate.

Cheers,

Andrew.
