Novi Colli will be harder - the Dragon is all pretty steady long climbs this year as Lou (organiser) is opting for the safe option due to high volume of riders - so it's long open road climbs rather than twisty steep ones - it's going to be very hard cos of the distance and relentless climbing but not overly steep - see that little hill called 'Neath' - doesn't look much but that's the toughest bit of the course.

All sportives this year however are going to be blown away by the tour of the black mountains in August - similar area, much harder. I've seen it, ridden half of it (slowly) and I'm scared - I'll post a report on it shortly when I can face thinking about it again but keep your diarys clear its going to redifine the UK sportive and will be harder than most anything in Europe.

I should also have a few free entries up for grabs if anyone's interested?
