Looks like everyone has had a great day on their bikes.

I got up early (07.00) with the the idea of doing a sportive tester. I did the Old Pots reliability ride down to ashdown forest, and came back via westerham.

It was a good ride, but was hard work on my own particularly the drag back after Hartfield. Got 75 Miles in the end. I'm going to need to do a few more of these if I'm gong to make it round the Dragon ride in the summer. It is so much harder on your own..

Ta Ta..

By the way, just calculated, total time and distance,

400 miles 20h 27 minutes = 19.6mph.

Great weekend's riding to cap a high volume week

Monday - Rest (felt great)

Tuesday - This is my 1 hour inc 2 x 20 @ threshold on road night (always feels like death to me but managed to complete both intervals)

Wednesday - 1 hour steady after yesterday (feeling ok, riding always feels easy after 2x 20s)

Thursday - 2.5hrs on fixed, V.windy, over hills inc Box Hill (words cannot describe the pain and how awful it felt at the end)

Good Friday - 2 hours steady round Box Hill (Absolutely creamed - the slowest rider in the south east on a shopping bike with slow punctures was quicker than me)

Saturday Club Run - knackered, so picked the slowest ride available, a gentle 100 miler down to Brighton and back (felt terrible all the way there and worse all the way home.)

Sunday - meant to do hills but was half dead - 1 hour recovery instead could hardly turn the pedals

Monday - 2.5 hours round Box Hill circuit ABSOLUTELY FLYING - totally recovered, never felt better. Amazing.

Riding time for week - 16 hrs (Must be summer eh?)
