Is the ride still going ahead even though the weather is bit wet and windy?

just asking because i thought we could go through beddington park and across to mitcham common on a nice route there that is quite sheltered from the elements in places!!?? actually not sheltered at all what about routes that take us under trees for the whole time??? Shirley hills springs to mind as long as you avoid all the doggers.
