Someone must be albe to help

Postby Rob » Sun Sep 07, 2003 1:51 pm

I recently got my new bike, took it for a sigma ride, and dam its fine  stylish, classy, out of my league and expensive! anyway to the point, im looking for an insurance company that isnt out of my student budget, but will cover the bike no matter what happens. Ive tried searching yahoo, but could only find sites that would insure bikes up to the value of £2000....ok for the classic bianchi, but not Ma Prince!

Has anyone got insurance?
can anyone help me?

Thanks

rob

Try Butterworth Insurance - I got a form with my LCC mag - you have to call them on 0870 8730067. I think they charge about 10% of the value of the bike.

Mine is insured through my bank HSBC.
Its a named item within my contents insurance and is insured against theft and accidents etc (not racing mind you). Again its about 10% of the actual cost.
I believe HSBC use Norwich Union.
