My membership of the above is just about due for renewal.
Is it worth it for me?
Haven't they been sh@t over eastway?
I would still need to be covered for insurance etc.
My best bike is insured thru a company in league with B.C
I do the odd TT, and that does not need BC membership- but if you do the clarencourt 4up you need a provisional licence

Any ideas or alternatives please.

Quit BC, writing them a letter explaining why.

Join CTC - they do just as good a bike insurance scheme as the stuffed shirts, and actually work for real cyclists rather than just Olympic track prospects. CTC membership gives you legal aid cover, and also 3rd party insurance when on the bike.

Look at Marks and Spencers household goods insurance - they cover bikes up to £3000 (I think) as a standard part of their cover.

Don't do the 4-up.

End of problem.

How many spaces does Ian count as in the Clarencourt 4-up?

Thats nice that is

I had a nice easy ride out today, a quick 50k loop taking in boxhill.
Hardly anybody about- phew wot a scorcher!
No queue at the cafe- mmmm date slice.
how was the office?
5 hours in Kent on sat
4 hours in Sussex on sun.
Just off to the cotswolds for a few days.
Ain't got time to work!

windy though wasn't it?

I did some hill reps. Went so hard I felt too sick to eat lunch after them :-( perhaps that's the key to keeping the weight off!
