Thanks to everyone who stopped to help/offer moral support after my crash today on the way to the clubrun. Those firefighters were great too!

Amazingly I have no fractures and the bike looks like it only needs a new wheel.

Lessons learnt are:

1) anticipate more at junctions so that lights turning amber isn't a surprise
2) it is always worth wearing a helmet - mine was totalled and it could easily have been my head
3) whatever sort of cycling accidents you have - you're better off if it happens with the addiscombe.

Glad to see that you're ok, Jeff.
I did stop but saw that things were under control and that you'd escaped with just a bloody nose and probably a few bruises.
