After getting one of my bikes stolen a few month ago I decided to store my road bike inside the flat, so bought one of these wall mount devices from

It uses a clever bolt system which expands as you tighten them to grip the drill-holes. I was a bit skeptical about whether they would work, so rather than risk damaging the bike, first I lifted myself up -- and yes, it supported my 63 Kgs just fine and was rock solid. The hooks are covered in a spongey gel plastic, so aren't going to damage the top tube. (Note: has to be fixed to masonry walls (brick, concrete), not plaster-board type)

So, if you're going to get another Pinarello, why not display it like the work of art it is?
