SCCU 25 and ToB Prologue - top day's viewing

Postby Tamar » Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:58 pm

Addiscombe are down for two marshalling duties at the Southern Counties 25 on 9th September....any volunteers? You will get to cheer on Escargot Snoop, Mike Ingram, myself and any other ACC riders as we put the finishing touches on our bid to return the Rawson Shield to its rightful place in the black, white'n'yellow hall of ACC fame.

Please let me know if you can help out.

The fun then continues at Crystal Palace with the ToB prologue and you will be able to compare and contrast our humble efforts with those of the pro boys. Most amusing I imagine.

Please let me know if you can help at the SCCU 25.

Cheers

Come on y'all - let's have a bit of help here. In a tiny way I feel a bit of a cheek asking seeing as how I'm riding in this one. But hey, on the other hand the forthcoming ACC Open 10 will be my fourth marshalling duty this year. Let's face it - if an ornery joe like me can find the time there's got to be a few takers out there.......hasn't there?

I'm riding this but have offered to take over a start/finish -ish marshaling point afterwards if I can be given an early start (rotating with a late starter).

Come on folks roll up, Tamar shouldn't have to give up her ride (and Rawson Shield point) for this.

If getting there (Broadbridge Heath, nr thru n' off dual carriageways) is an issue I can give someone a lift and collect in Selsdon/Croydon/Coulsdon.

A 100 member CR and can't provide 2 marshals........

Sorry folks - still nagging!

I am going to email the organiser to see if they are amenable to b*ggering around with the start sheet to enable us to ride and marshal...but to be honest it's a pain doing a start sheet at the best of times so if I were them I'd be inclined to say NO - marshal OR ride - and I wouldn't blame them at all.

If anyone can help out on the morning of the 9th please let me know. Those who want to ride will be HUGELY grateful.

Thanks
Tamar

Oops, kind of messed that up - forgot to post entry form prior to holiday and checked with organiser today - it didn't arrive having posted it in France.

So bad news for me, but good news for Tamar! I can help now.

Woohoo! I will pass your details onto the organiser. Thanks Guru Paul.

I think that ACC have been tasked with pushing off. Will confirm.
