Hadn't thought of that, doh! Looking at the info Clapham looks like a good bet as you'd join the route at Bird Cage Walk. Any other thoughts?

I we could let people know at the cafe tomorrow then they could either meet us at ECBR at 9:30 or at the hub.

[quote="Seanieh_The PengeAvenger©"]Picked up my pack this morning. It was bounced back to the depot as it was too big to fit through the letterbox. Anyway, I have my tabbard, Top Trumps pack and a letter from Ken. Oh, yes a bell too.

just got my pack from the depot - but no Top Trumps! (

To be honest Sean I have no idea which hub we'll go to, if we go to one.

We may just ride up to town and pick up the closed road route when we get there. I'll call you if we are heading for a hub or try and call when we get up there to let you know where we are.

Sorry I can't be more useful, will probably be a group decision when we meet at EC.

Enjoyable run out today. About 8 of us met at ECBR and rode up to the Clapham hub. Took a while to get going from there and we had to cope with an aural attack from an annoying announcer and jailbait "cheerleaders".

Very well organised event, great to see so many bikes in London, absolutely choca-block. Loads of kids, some tiny, and most cycling along themselves with their parents, only a few on trailer bikes.

PVT and I had to get back to get ready for the Alps and left with a couple of others who were resisting the sandwiches and a no-doubt Marco led beerathon. Hope you all enjoyed it and don't get nicked for drunk cycling. :D

All in just under 3 hours on fixed and a good spin. PVT also had his fixed out today but had a bigger gear on, trying to hang on to his wheel as he got the gear spinning wasn't easy  .

A very Agreeable day....and the first outing for a few years for my fixed. Unfortunately Andrew will insist on riding a silly little gear. My 74" is fine.
