BCF INSURANCE/RACING LICENCE

Postby Toks » Mon Feb 09, 2004 1:27 pm

Hi Marco,

I sent off for my BCF Gold Insurance and Racing Licence more than two weeks ago, but haven't received anything excect a Mountain Bike Magazine. Who is our club Sec because I think he/she may have been sent these documents?

Cheers Toks

I think the average time is about three weeks or so. That is how long it took for mine to come. If you need you membership number etc just give them a call. They can give you all the info you need over the phone e.g. membership number etc. They have probably registered you just haven't got your stuff out yet.

p.s. What a load of rubbish that magazine is, I gave it to my 1 year old daughter to play with after about 5 minutes of trying to find anything useful in it.

Cheers

Marek...

My license came directly to me, even though BC say they send them to the club sec. The membership dept is probably snowed under at the moment because everyone will be renewing in time for the start of the road racing season, so expect it to take a while.

I've had two free copies of MBUK recently, one with the BC calendar, and one with something else (possibly C+). They must really be struggling with their sales figures if they need to plug it so much. Even when I was into mountain biking I thought MBUK was pants, MBR is much better.
