Rain and Hail lovely

Postby siwickm » Thu Mar 25, 2004 11:38 am

Did anyone get caught in the rain last night. I was half way home from the City when the heavens opened, 10mins from home and the hail started. Painful when travelling at speed, thankfully had my helmet on. Hope the weather cheers up for the weekend, I had to wring out my clothes out on the doorstep as I was so wet the misses would not let me into the house.

Cheers

Marek...

I got caught in a hailstorm but on Tuesday night. It was quite fun, like hundreds of needles poking your legs, and the hail bouncing off your spokes. The ones that hit you in the eyes I wasn't that keen on.

Yep, got caught in the hail on Tuesday and rain last night.

Oh, the joys of the British springtime.

It started hailing just as I was going through Forest Hill, only about a mile from home, so didn't get too wet. Tonight looks like fun though!

It has been a bad week for cycling to work this week. I got soaked the other day and I only have to cycle 2 miles home. I wasn't so keen on getting on the turbo when I got home either !

Bad luck. I've commuted every day, and been out twice in the evenings, but somehow managed to time it to avoid the worst. Suffered a light sprinkling but that was it.
