Hey easy chaps. Put some oestrogen tabs in your water bottles Al and Darren! Remember this is the CHARITY thread! Compassion for your fellow riders!

I've been reading 'baseless training', how to lie in bed for long periods and still fly like the eagle of addiscombe, and the 'inverted pyramid' guaranteed training system, 'less is more' ... In actual fact, I'm desperately missing getting out on my bike, due to colds etc...and looking forward to having an enjoyable spring on my bike

I'm envious of Darren's many dedicated winter miles, I hear Alan has a new groupset, and Marek has plastered aluminium bike with go-faster carbon stickers...

Looks like its going to be a race to Birmingham!

Hey ajay is that the baseless training you were practicing in majorca, I seem to remember you talking me round to an 80 mile 5 col epic with Dave,Phil,Tamar and Nigel, little did I realise your training ride would consist entiely of laying in bed and not being there!

I was just wondering if any other agreeables are doing the LONDON to BIRMINGHAM ride for the British Heart Foundation this Sunday. If you are, I hope to see you either at the start, the finish or en route!!

Cheers Toks
