Ouch. Hope you make a swift recovery.

According to their user manual, Bell have a crash replacement policy, should save you having to pay out full whack for a new one.

Just glad you had a helmet on and not a woolly hat.

Thanks for the comments.

Still trying to get details from the police as to what happened.

Not feeling too bad considering. Arms and legs are fine, but my neck is pretty stiff. I'm really pleased to still have all my teeth as the inside of my mouth is a bit bashed up.

The UK Bell importer has kindly agreed to replace the helmet - thanks to Chris Scarlett for sorting that out.
