When I punctured on the dual carriageway (before the M23), I knew I would not be completing my run with the 18s. Like a true Englishman, I replied, “no, I’m fine” to offers to stop and help with the tube change. However, Jason stopped, helped me do the repair, and then we worked hard to get back on to the first 17 group.

It is this way of looking out for one another that is one of the keys to why we are such a successful club, and a pleasure to ride with.
