Today's Giro stage

So, after yesterdays euphoria, today the british contingent were brought back down to earth with a thump.

They're ok, but watch the final km and see how frustrating bike racing can be! Christ, I just tried throwing my bike like that and I could barely lift it off the ground so he must have been pissed off!

Yeah, but there's still a couple of TTs he could go well in, the first 'flat' one is maybe a bit lumpy for him. But the last day into Milan looks good...

Difficult to say he would have won had the chain not snapped though, the Tinkoff rider looked strong enough to do it, and none of the others really got close. But I guess we'll never know. But, he looked good though, maybe he'll get another chance. Losing time on GC today will help though, he'll be allowed more freedom, and he'll lose time for sure on the big mountains. So I'm sure he'll be up there again at some point...

Also, I take it he got a spare bike then, or did he have to climb the barrier and retrieve the other to finish with!?

Saw some KMC gold 10x chains yesterday and somehow Mr Munnery's name came to mind. That and some matching Gold Nokon too However, the KMC chains though made here in Taiwan are actually more expensive here than the UK! One chain costs NT$2400, which is roughly £40.

Shi*mano Sean . Saunier (so Davie boy last year) are on SRAM. Don't know what the chain was but I now use KMC after just about everyone said they are as good or better than original equipment (Shi*mano or Campag) and longer lasting.

Child, toys, pram, sprung to mind when I saw it. Good advert for how light Felt's are though .
