Congratulations Marky, I wondered where you'd got to, if you were still sleeping  .

Top bloke who's not afraid to have a go, and really shy and retiring  .

You are bang on that on the first stab it's harder than it sounds, I always think that your first 100 mile ride (and Brighton and back is a good one for it) is a landmark. You can ride 70 miles on a CR each week and think it's not that much further, but there is always a point just after that on your first long ride that your body seems to ask what the hell you think you're playing at. You can rest assured now that other long rides and C-B-Cs will come easier as you know you can do it. There seems to be some kind of mental boundary that gets broken.

I bet that Garmin print has pride of place on your wall :D .

See you on Saturday at some unGodly hour, but heh it's only 10 miles - See you at the sign-on.

P.S. You didn't get that trophy made up for yourself did you  .

[quote="Sylv"]Hey well done again Mark and here's to many more centuries.

I have seen more experienced riders being a lot more cautious (this is a compliment).

Crikey, I think he means me

I wasn't thinking of that (straight and easy) downhill, more of some of the ones on the way back (in a Tunnel of trees - no pun intended).
