Harlem is the setting for Sesame Street, though the filming is done on an indoor set.

Actually fewer spectators this year than others, maybe due to downpours earlier in the day that caused a many crashes in the Cat4, 3 races etc.
But the finishing straight was packed with people who did ofcourse invade the 'stoops' (front steps) of houses to get better views.

It's a great race, known locally as the Harlem Skinscraper, I rode it 2 years ago and found out why it earned the nickname!!
This time it was an opportunity to go and watch and introduce Molly to bike racing and some old teammates.

Rock Racing brought Freddy Rodriguez and Tyler Hamilton. Tyler is so small it's no wonder he only used a transfusion from a dog instead of a full grown human. Freddy is cool as nuts though - very stylish. They definitely controlled the race and the speed was amazing at times, you should see Tyler corner. Good to see another team win, a new pro too!
