Whatever happened to the CTC?

Have we got a local CTC DA and do they ever have clubruns?
I was a member for a little while and tried emailing a few people but no replies apart from an invite to bimble around Nonsuch park. Now I may not be the fittest ACC rider, but I could probably CARRY my bike that far.
The Northumberland section used to do about 100 miles every Sunday about 20% of that being "rough-stuff".
Maybe the Surrey crew are too busy 'campaigning' to do any 'cycle touring'?
