HELP!

Postby Nicola Baroni » Sat Sep 11, 2004 7:24 pm

Over the summer, I have dragged my bike out the shed and started riding around the local roads. Im a 19 year old student who is new to all this, so Im wondering if anyone can give me any advice on cycling and on what addiscombe is like? Are they're many people my age who are members? Thanks, Nicola

Hi Nicola,
since im one person sad enough to be browsing the forum at this time on a saturday evening iw ill try and answer your question

the addiscombe club run on a saturday morning is a diverse bunch that varies from week to week, worth having a look at as theres a few women ride out on that.

I dont know that many women under 20 that ride, you didnt say where you are located but if you are local to croydon/ south london area then I can arrange to meet you for a ride out along with a few other women,

Im contactable directly via email: miss.moneypenny@ukgateway.net

hope thats of some help.

Jayne

I joined the club 8 weeks ago and found them very helpful and willing and a great bunch of Ladies and Gentlemen. Turn up on a saturday and take a club ride 8) . They always help new riders of all abilities and are VERY FRIENDLY. Go for it you have nothing to lose there are a cpl of other Ladies (assuming you are female) that ride on Saturdays.

I now its late or early to send this reply but it depends on which way you look at it. Time now 3.08am sunday.
  PS it becomes very addictive riding with them so be warned.!!!!!!!!!!!!
