Problems with Bianchi

Postby nemesis » Wed Jul 02, 2008 2:37 pm

Has anyone ever had long running problems with Bianchi replacing warranty parts? I have been waiting for quite a few weeks now for them to apparently test and replace a creaking/cracking Chainset/BB. This has been a problem since I purchased the bike. Its now getting desperate with my LEJOG looming in a few weeks, They have returned the Chainset to Evans and said they need to send a new BB from Italy???? Sounds very 1970's to me?

Any thoughts? If not any contacts I could ring at Bianchi?

Not any help I'm afraid, but I think George had the same problem and he persuaded the shop to give him a "loan" bike.

The dealer you bought the bike from (Evans presumably?) should be the ones that honour the warranty and sort your bike out. Any problems they have with Bianchi should be between them, and you shouldn't need to be involved.
