Women Wannabe Racers

Postby Michelle » Mon Jul 14, 2008 12:55 pm

Calling all the above.

Spotted in this weeks comic (10th July).

At the back in the Events section.

"Prime Coaching's Womens training afternoon. Saturday 26th July. 1pm to 4.30pm at Hillingdon Circuit, Hayes, MIDDX. Coaching by BC and ABCC qualified coadhes (£12 or £8 youth). Contact Brian Wright on 01494 874854 or brianwright121@tiscali.co.uk "

I would be going to this but am doing TOBM.

Does anyone have Chloe's email or know her pm? - she should turn up to this, she's strong and young, just how they like em  There are a few others I can think of, one of whom spoke to me about racing in the cafe a few weeks back but I don't know her name  . Phils daughter?

Hi and I should also add that evey thursday at Hillingdon any wannbe racers (men or women) get 90mins worth of coaching from some of the same guys for the pricely sum of £3.00. Don't attend if you're already comfortable with the A&B training groups cause it will be a bit too slow

Thanks Michelle, I might go to this although I'm not feeling especially fast at the moment. I guess that is the point of training! Wouldn't mind some company though - Kate? Anyone else?

I think it might have been me you spoke to at the Cafe - for the record I'm Alan's daughter

Sorry, there are so many Phils and so many Alans it gets confusing.

Not too many Bridgets though, my apologies.

You should really go however strong ( or weak) you are feeling. And don't be worried about going on your own, you will find plenty of women there who have come on their own. It all ends up in a bit of a social event in the end.

Don't forget to take some food along, cos there is genarally a break in the middle. Cream cakes may not be an idea though, unless you take a couple of trays of donuts to share round, that might go down well :D

Just kidding.
