Hi Guys,
Some of you might have received this as an email already, but hey!
As many of you know, last summer I rode from London to Paris for Action Medical Research. And in doing so I raised the best part of £1,500 in the process.
This year I would like to beat that by a long way!
Action Medical Research is a fantastic charity and the quality and breadth of their research is astounding. Literally everyone has been affected by the work they do.
I hope you'll support me as I take on my personal challenge - in a good cause. Now I'm sure many of you are thinking how much of a challenge can it be for me, when I spend more time than I ought to on my bike!
Well, the challenge to me is to raise the money. I ride my bike all year round, mainly for my own enjoyment. So why not raise some cash for charity in the process!?
My sponsorship target is £1750 - I hope my friends and colleagues at will sponsor me and help me reach my target. Please sponsor me online at http://www.action.org.uk/~Adam_Cotterell
The Charity’s breakthroughs include the polio vaccine in the UK, the medical use of ultrasound scanning, the artificial hip, and discovering the importance of folic acid in the prevention of spina bifida.
They are currently looking for answers to premature birth, meningitis, cerebral palsy, strokes, epilepsy, osteoporosis and a whole range of other diseases.
Find out more about Action Medical Research at http://www.action.org.uk and take a look at some of the other events they are organising.
Thank you very much,
Adam
