Summer holiday starts today - perfect timing

now how cool is that!

Yeah, I know...bloody teachers, 13 weeks holiday, tch tch grumble grumble

anyway...predictions:

I think Kohl will win the stage

I want Sam Sanchez to win the stage... if not him then Menchov

I don't want Evans to win (why is he so hard to love?? :D )

Vive Le Tour

Fairly high muppet quotient on AdH today. It's getting a bit like the bull run during San Fermines in Pamplona. Still, most of them do seem to be in for severe sunburn.

When you think that a good part of them are drunk too from being on the side of the road since the morning with nothing else to do, it's a bit scary.

Beautiful scenery- looked a lot like my holiday there from last year.

As for the race- totally dull  - best bits were the descents, i recorded it and FFWD the dull bits.

The scenery probably won't have changed that much since then, Ian
