Winter hits NYC

Well winter is late but it hit Brooklyn this morning.

I went riding in -3 with another -10 wind chill. After 90 mins my water bottle had frozen. As had my balding scalp!!!

As yet it's dry and wonderfully sunny, but the arctic snow is on its way and I may be looking at a month or so snowbound in January.

What do I want Santa to bring? My Greencard. I am an officially approved 'legal resident alien' which is great news but tempered by the fact that I am not coming back to Blighty, friends and family unless the actual card arrives in the mail before my flight leaves next Wednesday night! Fingers crossed!
