Great Britain's Paralympics medallists so far:

[size=150]42 golds, 29 silvers, 31 bronzes [/size]

Second in the tables behind China. How good is that? Very bloody good.

Be fair I think the BBC coverage has been pretty good, a damn site better than most countries I'll bet. I've seen quite a few of the round up programmes at 7pm on BBC 2 and some of these athletes are simply amazing.

I find basketball extremely boring, but the wheelchair version last night was great. Looked, to an outsider, like a far greater level of skill involved.

I have been an avid watcher of the Paralympics (as I was for the Olympics) and I think it is fantastic that Britain is so strong in this area and it is a reflection of what kind of country we are.

It is truly great seeing a able-bodied athlete getting a gold but then to see that 13 year old swimmer win the gold - inspirational 8) 8) 8)

With all the people on disability benefit, we must have plenty of athletes to choose from.
